Couples & Relationship Therapy
$200 — 75-minute session (recommended)
$175 — 55-minute session
$250 — Intake session (75 minutes). Includes Gottman Relationship Assessment
I typically recommend 75-minute sessions for couples work. This allows us to move beyond surface-level conversations and have enough time to understand patterns, process emotions, and practice new interactions in session.
- $125 — 50-minute session
Insurance accepted for individual therapy through Headway for eligible plans.
For couples at a crossroads, where one partner feels unsure about the relationship and the other hopes to repair it. Discernment Counseling is a structured, short-term process to help you gain clarity about your next direction.
$375 — Initial session (120 minutes)
$275 — Follow-up sessions (90 minutes)
Discernment Counseling is not therapy. It is typically 1–5 sessions focused on gaining clarity and confidence about your next step. Because this service is not a medical or mental health treatment, it is not eligible for insurance reimbursement or HSA/FSA use.
For couples who want to make meaningful progress in a focused, private setting, intensives offer the space to go deeper than weekly therapy allows.
Rates vary based on structure and length. Please reach out to discuss options and availability.
Includes:
- Pre-intensive assessment
- Two full days of structured couples work (5–6 hours per day)
- Individual check-ins as appropriate
- Personalized feedback and guidance
- A clear plan for next steps
Intensives are private-pay and are not reimbursed by insurance.

Insurance is designed for diagnosable individual mental health treatment. Because of this, couples therapy, Discernment Counseling, and intensives are not covered and are offered as self-pay services.
Florida telehealth services are offered on a self-pay basis only and are not eligible for insurance billing.
If you plan to use out-of-network benefits for eligible Colorado services not covered by insurance, I can provide a monthly superbill for possible reimbursement.
Payment
I accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. Payment is due at the time of service. A valid card on file is required for all services. Discernment Counseling is not eligible for HSA/FSA use.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate
As a self-pay client, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of therapy. Your actual costs may vary depending on how often we meet, and you’ll always have a copy for reference. This is part of my commitment to keeping fees transparent and clear.
Next Steps
If you’re not sure where to start, a brief conversation can help clarify what would be most useful.
You’re welcome to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to talk through what’s been happening and explore whether this feels like the right fit.
Services are available in person in Arvada and virtually for clients physically located in Colorado at the time of session. I am also registered as an out-of-state telehealth provider in Florida and may provide telehealth services to clients physically located in Florida at the time of their session. Florida telehealth services are offered on a self-pay basis only.
