Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin.
Most clients begin with a brief consultation to help clarify the best next step.
This page will help you find the best way to get started.
How to Get Started
There are two ways to begin, depending on what you’re looking for:
Couples Therapy, Discernment Counseling, & Intensives
If you’re reaching out for support in your relationship, the best first step is a brief consultation.
This gives us a chance to:
- understand what’s been happening
- talk through what you’re hoping for
- determine whether this feels like the right fit
Couples work is different from individual therapy. It’s often more complex, and taking a few minutes upfront helps us use our time more intentionally.

You don’t need to be in agreement about everything before reaching out. Many couples start in a place of uncertainty. Use the form at the bottom of this page to request a consultation.
Individual Therapy (Using Insurance)
If you’re seeking individual therapy and would like to use insurance, you can get started directly through Headway.
You’ll be able to:
- verify your insurance benefits
- see your estimated cost per session
- request an appointment

A Quick Note About Insurance
Insurance is designed for diagnosable individual mental health treatment, which is why couples therapy, Discernment Counseling, and intensives are typically not covered.
If you have questions about cost or options, we can talk through that during your consultation.
