Life can begin to feel heavy when anxiety, stress, grief, relationship pain, or major life transitions leave you emotionally exhausted or stuck in patterns you cannot seem to shift. You may find yourself overthinking conversations, carrying the weight of other people’s expectations, struggling to trust yourself, or feeling disconnected from the version of yourself you want to be.
Sometimes the difficulty is not just one painful experience, but the accumulation of stress, disappointment, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm over time.
Individual therapy offers a place to slow things down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and begin responding to yourself and your life differently. Together, we will explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck while building greater clarity, resilience, and emotional steadiness.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in journalism, where I learned the importance of listening carefully and understanding the deeper story beneath the surface. I bring that same curiosity and thoughtful attention into the therapy process.
My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and attachment-based work. Therapy is tailored to your needs and may focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, self-esteem, identity, or navigating significant life transitions.
Therapy is not about becoming someone completely different. It is about understanding yourself more clearly, approaching your experiences with greater compassion, and creating meaningful change that feels sustainable and aligned with your values.
Individual therapy sessions are available in person in Arvada and virtually for clients physically located in Colorado at the time of session.
If you’re ready to begin this process, I invite you to reach out for a consultation.
